Terms of Service
The terms for Pocketstone, Vaara and Sunsign Daily, written against how the apps and their subscriptions actually work.

1. What you are buying
A subscription to daily guidance content. It is for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, it makes no prediction of fact, and it guarantees no outcome. Content comes from a deterministic rules engine over a reviewed library — not from a person reading your chart, and not from a system that invents claims.
2. Age
Minimum 13, or higher where your storefront requires it. If you are under the digital-consent age in your country you may need a parent or guardian's consent.
3. Free tier, trial and subscription
- A permanent free daily tier that requires no payment method and never expires.
- A 7-day free trial of full access. A payment method is required up front, and the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel.
- We remind you on day 5, two days before any charge.
- Monthly and annual only. There is no weekly tier.
- No advertising.
4. Cancelling
One tap, inside the app, through your platform's native subscription controls. You will never be asked to contact support to cancel, and there is no retention flow designed to prevent it. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you are not charged.
Trials are once per store account, which is a platform rule we cannot vary — it applies even across multiple profiles in the app.
5. German and EU consumer rights
- § 312j BGB (Button-Lösung): the order button states the payment obligation in plain words before you commit.
- § 312k BGB (Kündigungsbutton): a cancellation route of equivalent prominence.
- Widerrufsrecht: a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, and where you ask us to begin immediately you acknowledge that the right lapses on full performance.
- Prices include VAT at your place of supply.
6. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and their refund policies govern. We cannot issue a store refund directly, but we will support a request and will not obstruct one. How that works in practice is set out in the support policy.
7. Your content
Journal entries and check-ins are yours. We claim no ownership. You can export or delete them at any time, from inside the app, without asking us.
8. What we owe you, and what we do not
We aim for accurate astronomical computation and say plainly where precision is limited — for example when a birth time is unknown, where the app marks the reading reduced-confidence before you purchase, not after.
We do not warrant that any reading is correct, useful, or predictive, because that is not a claim this kind of product can honestly make. Liability is limited to the extent German law permits; nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.
9. Changes
Material changes to these terms or to pricing will be notified in advance, and continued use after the stated date is acceptance. Price changes never apply retroactively to a period already paid for.
10. Governing law
German law, with mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence unaffected.
